Between the scientific sessions, the networking, field tours to see MAPs in the greenhouse and research stations and commercial MAP operations, this meeting will be most productive. Rwandan Baskets from Rwandan Community Collectives

We are now offering hand made baskets and crafts from cooperatives in ASNAPP partner communities. Made by the Izeri Association, which means "Believe", the Abizera Collective in the "Village of Hope", and the Duhozanye cooperative in Kiyombe, Rwanda. All are hand woven by our partnering women's groups in Rwanda with whom we are working at introducing new crops for them to grow and sell- such as geranium essential oil (see: www.pfidnp.org) and because they are each lovingly handcrafted, rather than machine manufactured, the exact sizes, shapes and colors vary slightly. The sales of these baskets helps to support the efforts of local communities to provide economic opportunities to widows and orphans of the Rwandan genocide.

Mpuntu Teas

We are currently offering five incredible varieties of Mpuntu herbal teas: Rooibos, Lemongrass, Lippia, Honeybush, and a Rooibos and Honeybush blend. Each tea is 100% natural and grown by ASNAPP partner communities as part of our economic development program for Sub-Saharan Africa. The purchase of these teas helps to create sustainable economic opportunities for rural communities.
